Wyntryn

Kataar was the very first irregular of the bloodline. He fused his blood with that of a winter dragon. The acidity of the blood and severity of the infusion caused him to die, but the changes in his bloodstream brought him back to life.

He was also the founder of the Wyntryn region and the first King to take the throne and become a protector of the people. Although, the blood of the dragon began to change the state of his mind. Over the years he fell into madness, and even tried to kill his own son.

His son Aran in turn had no choice but to kill his father.

Married to Marshen Moore — Mother of Alys Wyntryn — Sister of Lynel Petrichor

Jespei was the oldest of two sisters. Her mother was Rosaline Myriad and her father was Lynel Wyntryn. She became queen of Wyntryn during the second resurgence of the Great War after her father Lynel Wyntryn was executed by the King of the Fynger Isles.

Queen Jesepi is known as the queen of many blades. She led the Wyntryn armies into battle with daggers strapped to her in the dozens. She was a master of combat and unlike her father, she was not born an irregular.

She is honored for her many successes in the Great War. Jespei was also the first Wyntryn ruler to begin mining in the western mountains. Those mining expeditions led to the discovery of the first huge cavern hidden beneath the mountains, Metarock. Although she lived a long life of successes, she sent a threat to the King of the Fynger Isles after he hunted within Wyntryn borders. That threat led to her being unceremoniously executed before her 60th birthday.

Jesepi was actually the 9th Wyntryn to take the throne, and the first ruler to serve for more than 20 years.

Mother of Aran Petrichor — Married to Anaere Petrichor — Sister of Jesepi Wyntryn

Lynel Petrichor is the younger sister of Jesepi Wyntryn. She began working in Rebynrock after her mother died. Her duties there were to watch over the mines and assist in the training of young mages. She fell in love with the third protector of Wyntryn, Aran Petrichor. Whom she married.

During the second resurgence of the Great War, Lynel founded the training camps for Wyntryn soldiers and mages. She was a master of charms and potions. Creating many aromas that helped in the healing of soldiers during battle. After the war, she settled down in a village to the south of Rebynrock where she gave birth to her son Aran Petrichor.

Lynel died after the stillborn birth of her second child.

Mother of Ava Wyntryn and Stygian Wyntryn — Married to Samuel Beckett

Alys became queen after her mother died peacefully in her sleep five years prior to the third resurgence of the Great War. Alys was born an irregular, with her bloodline’s unique ability to handle fire. This ability came to great use to her in battle, because the society began to breed Atane with fire abilities.

Alys is known for the elite mages produced from her training center at the Wyntryn Manor. She is also honored for having one of the strongest groups of protectors at her side. During her lifetime she strived to return the talismans back to their homeland. But this path led to upsetting other regions. Including Eventyr, Grymyr, and Gladlyn.

Alys was killed in a staged accident by the Society of the Collective while staying with her husband in Grymyr.
